Photographic Processing Machine Operator/Tender jobs in Weymouth, MA

Description

We are looking for an individual to clean, measure and visually inspect small plastic parts to ensure they meet our customer's criteria for acceptability.

This individual would also perform one slitting operation using a mechanical cutter.

The work is performed in a clean, climate controlled office space.

There is high volume of several different part types.  The work is very similar across these parts, so there is quite a bit of repetitiveness.  We do offer training in other areas of the shop and office, so there is room for advancement.

Part-time and full-time positions available as well as first and second shift options.

We are a well established precision gear and machine shop in business since 1966.  Our primary industries served are semi-conductor, aerospace, and defense with many other customers types.

Requirements

No experience required.  

Knowledge or experience of any of the following is preferred, but not required:

Microsoft Excel / Data Entry.

Microscopes.

Micrometers.

Dial Indicators.

Calipers.

Ability to read in .001 or .0001" increments.

Mechanical Tumblers.

Ultrasonic Cleaners.

Blueprint Reading.

Manufacturing Processes.
