CMM, Inc., is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Operations Technician with a knowledge of basic machine shop equipment and hand tools. This position is responsible for working as a machine operator and team member with an emphasis on safety, quality and productivity. A candidate that is enthusiastic, driven, coachable, and teachable.
Job Details:
- Flexibility to help out other departments from time to time, including but not limited to driving fork trucks, loading/unloading shipments, machine assembly, CNC operating, industrial Saw operating, and crate building.
- Willing to train right candidate.

- Assembling on Machines as per requirements to ensure product is to the Custom Machine Motioneering, Inc.
- Ensures that all finished products are in accordance with product specifications.
- Notifies maintenance of any problems with the equipment.
- Monitor quality of finished product.
- Communicates with Management and Team Leads at end and start of shift.
- Keeps the area around machines clean and organized as necessary.
- Reduce or eliminate waste where possible.
- Ensure that a safe environment is always maintained.
- Ensure that product specifications and process instructions are strictly adhered to.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Must be able to function as a team and be able to work under general supervision.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- HS degree or equivalent; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus but not required.
- Prior experience in a production setting preferred.
- Basic computer / Math skills.
- Ability to lift 35-40 lbs. Occasionally lift, carry and move up to 75-100 lbs.
