Batch Mixers, Enrobers and Slab Operators needed in the City of Ontario!

A large formulator and manufacturer of nutritional bar and functional powder products is seeking production workers to join their team. Overtime available and contract to hire positions, lots of opportunities to move up within the company! 

Long term – Temp to hire

Schedule: 12-hour shifts schedules rotating schedule 3-4 days working every other weekend.

First Shift: 3:00AM-3:30PM

Second Shift: 3:00PM-3:30AM

Pay: 

First Shift: $18/hr

Second Shift: $19/hr

Location: Ontario, CA 

Job Duties:

Consist of the following within the production line and will rotate:

• Scanning Product
• Follow recipe speculations
• Weigh & Mix powder & liquid product
• Mixing  of product into industrial mixer
• Lifting bags of product and placing into production machines
• Needs to understand product specifications: weight, length, height and width.
• Makes needed adjustment to equipment to ensure specifications.
• Responsible for completing the finished bar weight control chart on a daily basis.
• Signs-off appropriate documentation.
• Ensures that lines are in working order at start-up/change overs.
• Maintain working area in a clean and clear manner.
• Must have working knowledge of gsp/gmp.

Deberes del trabajo: Consisten en lo siguiente dentro de la línea de producción:

• Escaneo de productos, seguimiento de las especulaciones de la receta
• Pesaje y mezcla de productos líquidos y en polvo
• Mezcla del producto en un mezclador industrial
• Levantar bolsas de producto y colocarlas en máquinas de producción

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined 
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Water & Oil slip resistant shoes/boots required
• Pre-employment screenings 
• Attendance & punctuality a must!
