SUMMARY: Direct and oversee the production operations to ensure a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Directs the work of all teams on the blanking line and warehouse.
· Oversees the day-to-day operations, training, and development of staff.
· Organizes workflow by assigning responsibilities.
· Interprets and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures.
· Communicates with subordinates, peers, and management.
· Manages daily functions and checks for workflow errors and inconsistencies.
· Develops, implements, and maintains standard operating procedures, practices, and work instructions.
· Directs and maintains activities that ensure that the physical plant facility is kept clean and organized, that the company associates are operating in a safe environment and that the company is manufacturing a quality product that is being delivered in a timely manner.
· Responsible for appraisal and disciplining of employees.
· Identifies issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
· Responsible for monitoring timecards, approving time off, and tracking attendance.
· Responsible for reporting safety incidents and assists with investigations.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills including word-processing, PowerPoint, and Excel are required for this position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
