Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Description
Responsible for machine set-up and overall operation of manufacturing equipment. Operates equipment safely to efficiently produce higher quality rolls of plastic film. Performs other duties as required to promote overall plant effectiveness in accordance with good manufacturing practices and all plant procedures and guidelines.

High School diploma or GED required and 2 plus years of extrusion and/or manufacturing experience is preferred.

This position requires frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. The position requires frequent lifting, walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under extreme temperatures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
