Photocopy Operator jobs in Salisbury, NC

Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Job Summary: To ensure that contamination enters the production process though machine(s) such as WOOD, PLASTIC, METAL, GALSS, ETC. And maintain a steady flow of good material going to the hoppers.

    Machine Operator Duties:
    *

    Must maintain an efficient operation of assigned machinery and to use the correct material machine that is designed to grid.

    *

    Prevent hoppers from going empty and know the correct material for each hopper.

    *

    Operate machinery without jamming it.

    *

    Perform magnet checks during each shift and document levels of debris.

    *

    Once bales have been stationed on conveyor rest, cut straps. Propper PPE must be worn such as, full face shield and gloves. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action and possible termination.

    *

    All wiring strapping must be removed from bale and placed on wire disposal frames. Do not leave wire pieces on floor.

    *

    Visually check scrap material for foreign or unwanted particles/debris.

    *

    Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, process and/or the system.

    *

    Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system.

    *

    Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designed channels.

    *

    Understand and identify quality issues and/or concerns.

    *

    Control further processing, delivery or installations of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

    *

    Machine Operator Qualifications:
    *
    Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment required

    *
    Some heavy lifting required

    *
    Must have basic reading, writing and math skills

    *
    Must have good communication skills

    *
    Must able to change from one one task to another frequently.

    *
    Must have good on-time attendance
