Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Essential Functions depending on position :

    • Reading information from job tickets, acquire needed materials, load equipment with product and print files.
    • Perform routine maintenance on schedule and according to procedure to promote machine stability and dependability.
    • Monitor stock within production area and initiate timely requests for replenishment.
    • Monitor the printing process to maintain print quality.
    • Understand the machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality. Care and maintenance of equipment
    • Ensures that the job is set up properly.
    • Accountable to calibrate the digital press at a minimum in-between jobs.
    • Assists in training individuals and other team members as assigned.
    • Complies with established safety procedures and policies.
    • Works with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and / or validations.
    • Complies with company policies, procedures, and core processes.
    • Performs other job duties as assigned

    • Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
