Photocopy Operator jobs in Monterey, CA

The Grinder Operator will safely operate heavy equipment, such as grinders, shredders and other heavy equipment to manufacture compost and other soil amendments

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely and effectively operate various forms of heavy equipment to move product and feed shredders, grinders and screens.
• Safely load product onto roll off containers or walking floor trailers.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Observe and comply with all applicable safety regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
• Maintain collaborative working relationship with drivers, operators and coworkers.
• Participate in trainings to increase skill sets and improve service.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Certifications:

• One (1) years of related experience operating grinder and/or shredder required
• Experience in the compost industry preferred
• Certifications preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Outdoor work environment
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

• Normal setting is outdoors, with exposure to weather, dirt, high levels of noise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Heavy equipment operation: 3 years (Preferred)
• grinder operation: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• OSHA 10 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Gonzales, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
