Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes, but not limited to....
· Perform checklist on forklift each day before using as required by truck shop.
· Move Boards and beams off of blocks and stack on runners. Pull tickets on packages to match with copy in sales office.
· Maintains and promotes awareness of safe working conditions and practices by following all policies and procedures. Caution others, as necessary, in working in a safe manner.
· Keep eye on truck drive when loading onto truck.
· Verbally reports any unusual conditions to Sawmill manager.
· Performs routine corrective maintenance or reports to maintenance supervisor.
· Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
· Must be able to perform within a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Shipping and packaging experience preferred
· Must be willing to attend grade classes to acquire grade knowledge if applicable.
· Must be self-motivated and able to perform assigned duties with little supervision.
· Good verbal communication skills.
· Good analysis / problem solving skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Make sure all beams are put on truck and report any damaged beams to Lamplant manager.

This position works in a loud inside environment. This position will regularly be working near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
