This position is seeking a hands-on, human resources associate who will be responsible for providing administrative support working in the functional areas of the HR department including employee onboarding, personnel record maintenance, and benefits administration.
Minimum Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide full range of daily HR support including but not limited to staffing, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compensation, and training and development.
· Handle employee orientation and onboarding processes.
· Oversee record keeping of both electronic and hard copy personnel files.
· Assists with benefits administration. Processes various benefits and employment forms and provides information concerning all health and welfare and benefit plans; and assists with open enrollment.
· Prepare and distribute employee notices and materials (benefit enrollments, companywide memos, etc.
· Recruitment activity will include reviewing of job applicants, creating job postings, updating job descriptions, scheduling interviews, preparing job offers and scheduling start dates.
· Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
· Update HRIS systems with employment status changes.
· Collaborate with EH&S on employee safety and wellbeing initiatives, such as annual vision and hearing testing, boot truck program, safety committee, etc.
· Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Ensure performance appraisals are completed along with providing support and assistance to managers as needed.
· Ensure a smooth offboarding process, including exit documentation.
· Other duties as assigned.
