Pharmacy Technician Supervisor oversees the work of a team of Pharmacy Technicians that assist Pharmacists with the dispensing of medical prescriptions. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (include the following):
· Rotate and work within assigned pharmacy workstations based on pharmacy needs, to safely and accurately fill resident prescriptions.
· Accurately fill, label and package a variety of dosage forms in accordance with legal requirements and pharmacy standards.
· Provides cross coverage for multiple technician responsibilities in order to meet delivery deadlines.
· Understand requirements and procedures for handling, distribution, inventory control, and security of controlled substances.
· Exercise proficiency across all Fulfillment workflow areas.
· Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
· Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, marking used bottles, assisting in physical inventory, and keeping inventory neat and arranged in-order
· Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
· Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
· Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed.
· Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
· Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1 years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
· Proficient in word/excel/email
· Pharmacy software experience preferred
· Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
· Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
· Great attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
· Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies

· Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 2:30pm-11pm and Saturday 10am-6:30pm
· This role will be performed on-site at a closed-door pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ 85024. All patient interactions will be over the phone.
