A Day in the Life:As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by positively supporting our pharmacy teams. Communicating with other health care providers, reviewing patient records, provide immunizations and filling medication orders while following HIPPA guidelines, ensures we can meet our patient's needs. You provide courteous customer service and assist the Pharmacist on duty in maintaining the clean and orderly appearance of the pharmacy area, prioritizing work, and processing prescription orders in compliance with Federal and State laws and company policies and procedures. Albertsons will train you to become a pharmacy technician offering classes from our pharmacy learning and development team, pharmacy computer system and hands-on training with our teams.The pay range is $20.18 to $25.50 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
