Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Bowman Drug Company is a dynamic community pharmacy serving patients in Bowman, ND. We are looking for a part-time, highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our team in Bowman, ND. The schedule for this position will be three days a week and will include a Saturday rotation. In this position you would provide prompt, high quality care to our patients and assist the pharmacist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills. National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred, not required. We will pay for the coursework to become a certified pharmacy technician in the state of North Dakota.
