Qualifications
Licensed West Virginia Pharmacy technician with national certification or licensed or registered West Virginia nurse.
Must have excellent personal interaction skills, plus top level oral and written communication skills.
A top level ability to access situations and problem solve issues.
Responsibilities
Routine, on-site visits with designated nursing facility staff members.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting facility staff/customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling.
Troubleshoot problems on-site and also by drawing in appropriate pharmacy contacts and resources.
Utilize remote computer access to investigate nursing facility staff concerns.
Forge positive relationships with nursing facility management and insert themselves as the "point of contact" for questions, issues, and concerns.
Be involved in teaching nursing staff on pharmacy procedures.
Perform medication audits as appropriate.
Handle and resolve resident issues, complaints and questions as referred by nursing facility staff members.
Interact with physicians/nurses and be familiar and able to review PCC (Point Click Care) to gain information on/about residents and orders and to resolve any issues that arise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
