JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Hours and location: This particular position is based in Destrehan, La.
• Address- 3001 Ormond Blvd C Destrehan, LA 70047
• Hours- Monday-Friday: 9a.m.-6p.m. Saturday: 9a.m.-3p.m.

About the role: As a Pharmacy cashier, you will assist the pharmacist(s) in: Maintain patient profiles and records, answer phone calls and address customer inquiries, make outbound calls to patients, handle payment transactions at Point of Service, follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, have a reliable mode of transportation to get to and from our pharmacy on a regular daily basis, must have a positive attitude, excellent phone etiquette, and provide exceptional customer service.

Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
