Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. SUMMARY:
Our Customer Service Clerk is one of the faces of our organization, and therefore should have excellent people and communication skills in order to best work with our customers. Responsible for own clerical duties, which include, but aren’t limited to, answering phone calls, emailing messages, generating reports, and data entry. Tasks will also include monitoring all orders submitted and facilitating the fulfillment process according to established priorities, sending invoices and tracking information daily, and providing efficient and professional support to customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for processing and monitoring the import of customer’s orders, investigating and/or correcting order errors or stock issues, and communicating order status and priority needs.
· Provide information necessary to ensure that all orders are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
· Learn critical information regarding products offered to better address customer questions and concerns.
· Monitor and respond to Customer inquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
· Operate office machinery such as copy machine, scanners, printers, and personal computers
· Initiate and monitor the return and credit process, follow up to ensure completion and update customers as needed.
· Processing and following up on customer orders being fulfilled by other vendors.
· Monitor and follow up on orders with EOE errors or questions through an external communication resource.
· Send tracking information and invoices to customers daily.
· Provide end of day status reports to management team.
· Basic bookkeeping
· Process and prepare documents
· Ensure work area is clean and safe
· Other duties as assigned
