Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Pharmacy Service Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Type and prepare prescriptions, answer phones, ring register, and provide friendly service to our patients. No experience required. All training is paid on the job including optional immunization certification to give vaccines and study materials/PTCB exam fees if you want to become nationally certified to boost your career. Pharmacy is a great introduction to the Healthcare field. Must be 18 or older. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Hours of operation are 9-9 weekdays and 10-6 weekends. Ability to work 1 or 2 closing shifts per week and every other weekend is preferred. We can accommodate school schedules. Full time or part time position available.
