Pharmacy Service Clerk jobs in District of Columbia
Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Pharmacy Service Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. PRIMARY PURPOSE
Our pharmacy clerks are just what the doctor ordered. They are friendly and welcoming and help our customers when they call in or are picking up a prescription in store. On top of helping customers check out, they are in charge of keeping the department organized and clean. This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your store.
