Exciting opportunity for dynamic and professional Pharmacy Customer Service Represenative to process pharmacy prescriptions and provide excellent customer service. A Pharmacy Technician license is required

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pharmacy Customer Service Representative will primarily be focused on communicating with our Physician Practices and Customers, processing prescriptions and payments for orders timely and accurately and passing the prescriptions for Pharmacist (PV1) review. Candidate should enjoy phone communication and will report to the Director of Contact Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key order timely and accurate
• Customer’s billing/shipping information must be gathered and reviewed before an order is keyed to ensure accuracy
• Responsible for contacting physician offices and patients to review and update their profile.
• Pharmacy Technician license course can be completed online. Our company will pay for Licensure and train.
• Responds promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries and re-directs to applicable departments as needed.
• Handles and resolves customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Communicates timely with the customer when an order has been delayed, cancelled or interrupted.
• Secures payment during the order intake process.
• Communicates payment requirements professionally and accurately.
• Maintains compliance with company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements.
• Expected to meet minimum quota and productivity requirements Perform other related duties as directed.
• Expected to follow all policies and procedures as set forth by the company and supervisor.
• Expected to manage time effectively
• General Office tasks as assigned.
• Participate in projects as assigned by Supervisor.
• Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
• Expected to conduct self in a professional manner in the workplace.

EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent

Current Pharmacy Technician License required.

Microsoft Office Suite, Pharmacy Software - CarePoint a Plus!

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
