The Purchasing Technician/Coordinator is in-charge of purchasing and maintaining inventory levels within the Pharmacy.
DUTIES
Review daily stock inventory and purchase needed products in a daily basis. Review prices and select the lowest price available from current vendors. Maintain a controlled inventory with maximum and minimum numbers of bulk items, high cost, or special items while keeping within budget guidelines. Periodic reviews of inventory for expired, damaged or overstock medication.
