Pharmacy Director jobs in Novi, MI
Pharmacy Director directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for a hospital or healthcare facility's pharmacy services. Maintains contact with other department heads, medical staff, and nursing staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes, and promote effective drug therapy. Being a Pharmacy Director requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Typically requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Additionally, Pharmacy Director typically reports to a top management. The Pharmacy Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Pharmacy Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Requirements

-Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
-High school diploma/GED
-Team player
-Flexible schedule(some evening and weekend hours)
- Effective communication skills
-Retail experience a plus
- Ability to complete certification or license depending upon state requirements
-RX30 software knowledge a plus but not required
- Standing / walking for an extended period of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
