Custom Care Pharmacy is a locally owned compounding pharmacy serving Greensboro and the surrounding area since 2001. We are a forward-moving company committed to providing personalized practical solutions to meet individual patient needs. The company is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist in compounding medications under the supervision of the Pharmacist. Experience in compounding, retail, or hospital pharmacy is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, and 401(K) with matching. We are closed on Sundays, New Year's Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Schedule will consist of 40-hour work weeks between 9am and 7pm Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays 10am-3pm.
The Pharmacy Technician's responsibilities include:
- processing, preparing, and compounding prescriptions for various dosage forms
- assisting medical professionals and patients both by phone and in person
- maintaining required documentation
- routine cleaning of the pharmacy and equipment
- assisting in inventory management and ordering
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Basic computer and math skills
- Availability to work between 9am and 7pm Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
