Responds to customers questions about medications and advises about drug safety and potential interactions. Being a Pharmacist - Retail manages the transfer of prescriptions, incoming physician calls, and drug utilization review. Ensures that pharmacy's patient and financial records are correctly input and maintained. Additionally, Pharmacist - Retail requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires registered pharmacist(RPh). Requires pharmacy practice. Pharmacist - Retail's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. About The Job:
The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for customer experience, operations, people and performance management, and training/self-development activities for retail pharmacy customers and staff and providers. Is responsible for ensuring the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and organizational policies and procedures. The pharmacist will have direct communication with Tracy Hart, MBA, and support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy.
The Shift: Possible hours of coverage
The possible shifts are M-F 8:30-5:30 (or until St. Ansgar Clinic closes) and/or Saturday 8-12.

MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.
