Minimum Qualifications: • Degree: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). • Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). • Internship/Residency: Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy or documentation of appropriate education, training, and/or CME in the practice of clinical pharmacy. • Certifications: BLS • Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions. o Possess one (1) year of full-time experience in the last three (3) years as a clinical pharmacist in an ambulatory care setting OR Completed an ASHP-accredited Ambulatory Care Residency OR Possess Board Certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist. • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist. Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be at the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England (NMRTCNE), Newport, Rhode Island and associated branch medical clinics within a 40-mile radius of their assigned MTF. Hours of Performance: The performance hours of the MTF are as follows: Newport: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0730-1700 Groton: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0630-1700 Kittery: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0630-1700 Saratoga Springs: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0700-1600 Scheduling: Specific days, hours, and shift length will be scheduled by the designated government representative. The specific schedule for each two (2) week period will be provided one (1) month in advance by the government supervisor or designee. HCW shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5-to-9-hour period, including an uncompensated 30-to-60-minute meal break, respectively. In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services over 80 hours per two (2) week period. |
