Pharmacist - Home Care jobs in Ohio
Pharmacist - Home Care compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and pharmaceutical supplies per physician's instructions for patients in a home care setting. Provides consultation and answers inquires from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to JCAHO standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Pharmacist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are looking to add to our professional staff as a full-time Staff Pharmacist. Come join our team in a family-friendly team-based atmosphere that allows our employees to really enjoy what they are doing. Our dedicated staff focuses on doing it right the first time.
This position is available in our Mason, OH location:
- Position will work 5-8 hour shifts during the day
- Works 1-2 shifts per week as a pharmacy technician (our solution to the tech shortage)
- Rotates every 3rd weekend and 1 holiday per year
- Will work an occasional evening but very minimal
Requirements:
Active Pharmacist License in the State of Ohio
Ability to work the schedule with a weekend and holiday rotation
Ideal candidate will be able to work independently with high degree of accuracy and speed
Also needs the ability to work well with internal team and be customer focused
