Job Description
VetPride Services, Inc. is seeking workers to perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in pest control, grounds maintenance, carpentry, and masonry. The pest controller will perform minor repair of equipment and practical skill, knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as pest control and grounds. Work involves a variety of the following duties: herbiciding, inspections, testing, and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Periodical trouble-shooting inspections of buildings and grounds, considering size and type of environment, e.g. parking lots, yards, railroads, fences, and storage areas to detect potential weed pest. Keeps detailed records of inspections conducted on each building, type and amount of pesticide sprayed or disposed of. The Pest Control worker will work under the direct supervision of the Pest Control Manager.
