As a Pest Control technician you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and implementing effective pest control measures. Your expertise in pest control techniques and excellent customer service skills will contribute to maintaining a pest-free environment for our clients. STARTING WAGE $12.00-$18.00 an hour for training. DOE
Responsibilities:
Running daily routes resolving customers pest concerns and issues.
Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order.
Keeping accurate records of products provided.
Collecting payment for services rendered.
Mixing applying and working with pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws.
Monday through Fridays preferred but some Saturdays may be needed at times.
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each client
-Confident in sales skills to be able to communicate in an effective and positive way to customers what is needed on their homes before implementing plans.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control treatments safely and effectively
- Install and maintain pest control devices such as traps and baits
- Provide recommendations to clients on preventive measures to minimize future infestations
- Communicate with clients to address their concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including inspection findings, treatment plans, and client interactions
qualifications:
Able to pass state testing requirements for pest control technician or already hold a license valid in Idaho.
Clean and valid driving record required.
Pass a drug test and background check.
No prior felonies.
Able to Speak clear English.
Able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds.
Effective problem solving skills required
- Previous experience in pest control or related field is not necessary. Willing to train.
after training is complete pay averages between $18-$28 with commission pay on new accounts on top of base pay
