Pest Controller inspects insects infestations and uses chemical mixes to exterminate. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Pest Controller has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Pest Controller works under immediate supervision. Locally owned & operated in the Ames area for over 37 years, we are adding a full-time or part-time pest control service technician to our team. On-the-job training provided to qualified candidate. Applicant must obtain Iowa Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Core Exam, 7A & 7B) to complete hiring process. Our technicians provide a variety of pest control services for residential and commercial customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have/be able to:
Pass the Iowa Dept. of Agriculture Exams- Core, 7A and 7B to become licensed
Provide professional and courteous service
