Personnel Records Clerk performs clerical and administrative tasks to support HR operations and projects. Completes routine data entry, report generation, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems. Being an Personnel Records Clerk assists with delivering core HR processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and program implementations, including benefits, compensation, and performance management. May administer other HR systems used for timekeeping, performance, and training management processes. Additionally, Personnel Records Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Personnel Records Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. 35% - Search, retrieve, and return case files in a central records area.
SUPERVISION BY: Assigned supervisor or manager of unit provides general supervision.
SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY:
INTERNAL: All levels of Court staff.
EXTERNAL: General public.
PRIMARY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Computer, copier/printer/scanner/fax, telephone, desk scanner, and Judiciary operating rules or handbooks. Working with a fork-lift, pallet jack fork, and climbing on tall ladders.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
(Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis provided a high school diploma or GED has been obtained)
EXPERIENCE: One year general office experience.
