Completes routine data entry, report generation, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems. Being an Personnel Records Clerk assists with delivering core HR processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and program implementations, including benefits, compensation, and performance management. May administer other HR systems used for timekeeping, performance, and training management processes. Additionally, Personnel Records Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Personnel Records Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Job Overview
    A Medical Records Clerk is responsible for managing patients’ health records and history. Their main duties include gathering, scanning, and keying patient information into the electronic medical record system.
    Required Experience:
    Preferred medical terminology.
    Two years of medical record experience preferred.
    Education and License/Certification:
    High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    Essential Functions:
    • Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and utilize effective communication skills both in person and by phone.
    • The ability to accurately and professionally provide timely services to clinicians and third-party vendors.
    • Complete all document scanning and indexing as needed.
    • Process and track all incoming medical record requests from multiple sources.
    • Responsible for entering accurate lab results within the electronic medical record system.
    • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
    • Ability to cross train throughout the medical office.
    • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
    • Other duties as assigned.
