Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners jobs in Maryland

International School of Music is seeking part-time Percussion Teachers to join its growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, and a passion for music and education.

Responsibilities:

• Teach drum lessons to students of all ages and skill levels in the comfort of a professional school environment
• Develop lesson plans and curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback
• Prepare students for progress evaluations, recitals and performances
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and goals

Our administrative staff handles all the things below, so drum teachers can focus on teaching:

• scheduling of lessons and building instructor's roster quickly
• managing student’s invoicing and billing
• organize school recitals, and all other student community performances

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Music education or percussion performance preferred
• At least 2 years of experience teaching drum lessons
• Expertise in multiple percussion genres
• Professional and punctual attitude; a friendly disposition
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
