Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Guide new employees through the pension plan enrollment process.Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and eligibility requirements are met.Serve as the primary point of contact for plan members.Provide assistance and information regarding pension benefits and contributions.Calculate pension benefits based on factors such as years of service and salary history.Determine retirement age eligibility and entitlements.Maintain accurate records of plan participants.Track contribution history and benefit entitlements.Manage pension plan contributions, including payroll deductions and employer contributions.Coordinate with financial institutions or investment managers as needed.Ensure adherence to relevant regulations such as ERISA.Stay updated on changes in pension legislation.Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to the pension plan.Process paperwork and transactions, manage beneficiary designations.Provide guidance and counseling to employees nearing retirement age.Assist in retirement planning and benefit estimation.Facilitate distribution of pension benefits to retirees.Set up payment schedules and process necessary paperwork.Prepare reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings.Maintain accurate documentation related to the pension plan.Identify opportunities for process improvement within pension administration.Implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
