Payroll Manager is responsible for managing payroll processing operations. Establishes policies and processes that ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions. Being a Payroll Manager interfaces between finance and human resource departments to provide accurate and useful information. Develops and produces payroll-related statistical reports. Additionally, Payroll Manager ensures accurate and on-time governmental reporting and compliance. Oversees the activities and training of both professionals and support staff. Directs the resolution of complex issues or errors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Payroll Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. At Payroll Assure we believe the customer experience is essential to our success. We are looking for a Part Time Payroll Customer Service Representative to be involved in all aspects of our daily payroll processing.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Responsible for all aspects of quality client service. From entering a payroll for a client to assisting the client as they enter and process their payroll.
· Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, and coworkers to promote a positive quality service image.
· Contact clients according to set schedules in order to obtain payroll data, including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions or adjustments.
· Provide quality client service to maintain a high rate of client retention.
· Gain and maintain knowledge of the payroll processing system as well as wage and tax laws.
· Research and resolve client and system issues to ensure accurate payrolls.
· Assist with Day End, Quarter End, and Year End processes and filings.
Requirements:
· High school diploma / GED
· Experience working in payroll preferred, but not required.
· Minimum of 2 years office experience in customer service, data entry, and problem resolution.
