Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Additionally, Payroll Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Payroll Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Payroll Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. As the Director of Global Payroll Services, you will lead and mentor the global payroll delivery team to ensure that payroll is processed smoothly and accurately across over 34 countries with over 10,000 employees. You will be a key partner for our stakeholders and payroll-managed service providers, using the latest technologies, such as Workday HR, Dayforce, and ADP Payroll Suites, to improve and streamline our processes. You will ensure that payroll is done correctly, efficiently, and on time and that we comply with each country's relevant payroll and regulatory requirements.
