Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Additionally, Payroll Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Payroll Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. At Payroll Assure we believe the customer experience is essential to our success. We are looking for a Part Time Payroll Customer Service Representative to be involved in all aspects of our daily payroll processing.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Responsible for all aspects of quality client service. From entering a payroll for a client to assisting the client as they enter and process their payroll.
· Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, and coworkers to promote a positive quality service image.
· Contact clients according to set schedules in order to obtain payroll data, including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions or adjustments.
· Provide quality client service to maintain a high rate of client retention.
· Gain and maintain knowledge of the payroll processing system as well as wage and tax laws.
· Research and resolve client and system issues to ensure accurate payrolls.
· Assist with Day End, Quarter End, and Year End processes and filings.
Requirements:
· High school diploma / GED
· Experience working in payroll preferred, but not required.
· Minimum of 2 years office experience in customer service, data entry, and problem resolution.
