Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Director of HR and Payroll Services
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of HR/Payroll Services will work closely with the facility Administrator and department heads to oversee the payroll process and serve as the HR resource for the facility. They coordinate the timely completion of payroll and assistance of developing and implementing effective HR strategy and programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor Degree or Technical Degree in HR Management, or related field prefered.
Experience: 2-3 years of HR Management. Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other facility staff. Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents and the elderly. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Meets all health requirements, as required by law. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.
