Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. 1 POSITION PURPOSE
Oversee faith formation programs for parish children, excluding Youth Ministry and Confirmation.
2 RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 GENERAL
A. Carries out the mission of Christ according to the dictates of the Catholic Church, within the areas of parish responsibility, guided by the vision of the parish pastor.
B. Participates in staff activities, including staff meetings, as requested by the pastor.
C. Works to stay current in knowledge and skills related to job responsibilities.
2.2 SPECIFIC
Employee – either directly or through volunteer coordination – is responsible for the following parish programs, in both English and Spanish:
A. Infant Baptism Classes for parents and godparents
B. First Confession / First Eucharist classes for 2nd – 5th graders
C. OCIA for Children classes for 2nd – 12th graders
D. General Faith Formation for K – 5th graders
Employee will also be responsive to parishioner input, specifically through regular meetings of a Faith Formation Commission.
