Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Job Summary:
The Payroll Lead is responsible for preparing and processing biweekly payroll, which includes ensuring payroll is completed timely, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This position generates and analyzes payroll reports and conducts regular payroll-related audits. The Payroll Lead ensures accurate and timely submission of payroll taxes and other statutory deductions. This position works collaboratively with Finance, Human Resources, as well as department leaders across VHP, and may participate in finance related projects as necessary.
