We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Payroll Accounting Technician to serve a dual payroll and accounts payable role with the Clerk and Comptroller’s office. This position performs auditing and payment processing of accounts payable for the Board of County Commissioners. The role is also responsible for recording and posting monetary transactions, providing daily and weekly accounting and balancing of all transactions processed, and researching and resolving policy and procedure discrepancies. The Senior Payroll Accounting Technician will also be responsible for reviewing all work performed to ensure accuracy and verification of funds processed. Areas of assignment may include pre-auditing administrative accounting, timely payment processing, and assisting in the audit of county-wide payroll.
