**Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting and be proficient in various payroll systems. **Responsibilities:** - Process payroll for employees accurately and timely - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations - Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity - Handle benefits administration and assist with inquiries - Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies - Assist with general ledger accounting tasks - Utilize HRIS systems for payroll processing - Conduct debits and credits calculations **Qualifications:** - Prior experience in payroll processing and administration - Proficiency with 10-key typing and accounting software - Knowledge of Paychex, UltiPro, or similar payroll systems - Familiarity with benefits administration procedures - Strong understanding of account reconciliation and general ledger principles This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and accuracy are highly valued. Pay: $18.80 - $19.93 per hour
