Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a Recovery Specialist, you will provide support and assistance to individuals recovering from substance abuse or mental health issues. Your role will involve crisis intervention, case management, and providing guidance to help clients achieve their recovery goals in the Norfolk and Columbus area.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine the needs and goals of clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs
- Provide crisis intervention and support during difficult situations
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and services
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to clients' families and loved ones
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation
Skills:
- Strong crisis intervention skills
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Experience in supervising and guiding individuals
- Ability to provide childcare when necessary
- Proficient in case management techniques
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Excellent conflict management skills
