Payment Recovery Specialist jobs in Indiana
Payment Recovery Specialist is responsible for analysis of denied reimbursement claims. Ensures appropriate insurance coverage for compliance standards and revenue generation. Being a Payment Recovery Specialist monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of claims. Coordinates with departments and insurance companies to correct errors as necessary. Additionally, Payment Recovery Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Payment Recovery Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Peer Specialist to join our team. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will provide support and assistance to individuals inflicted with the illness of substance abuse. Duties:
- Provide crisis intervention and support during times of distress

- Build trusting relationships with individuals receiving services
- Provide peer support and mentorship to promote self-advocacy and resilience
- Assist individuals in developing and achieving their personal recovery goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans
- Assist individuals in navigating the behavioral health system and accessing community resources
- Document client interactions and progress according to agency guidelines
Skills:
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Peer Specialist is required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting is preferred
