Payment Recovery Specialist jobs in Idaho

A well-established Coeur d’Alene company is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Processing Specialist to join their Mortgage Loan Servicing department. This integral role involves managing various aspects of loan accounting and payment processing, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will handle tasks related to "mortgage math," including payment application, payoff statements, escrow analysis, revenue tracking, and financial reporting. This position also entails limited client interaction to address inquiries regarding account statements and payment history.

 Responsibilities:

• Process loan payments and payoffs accurately
• Conduct analysis and maintain loan accounting records
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Record loan fees and costs meticulously
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
• Review exceptions and manage online banking customer entitlements
• Prepare comprehensive work papers and reconciliations
• Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects as assigned
• Serve as backup for post-closing and draws positions
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal controls at all times

Wage: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour DOE
