The department is a secure department with 8 fully operational OR rooms in the main campus of Laredo Medical Center. This is a busy unit that does an average of 25-35 surgeries per day. Position's Purpose and Essential Functions:
Transports patients to and from their inpatient beds and other areas. Other responsibilities include assisting operating room personnel with the preparation of surgical rooms and retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.
