Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. Being a Patient Transporter may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Patient Transporter typically reports to a supervisor. The Patient Transporter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Summary: As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for the transfers and transport of non-ambulatory inpatients between nursing units and ancillary departments for diagnostic testing, rehab, therapy, and/or other destinations as assigned to facilitate treatment and health care
Educational/Minimum Work Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED is required.
-Current CPR Heartsaver is required
-Previous experience in a health care setting desirable
Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
