Gives presentations and training programs meant to increase awareness of patient safety initiatives. Additionally, Patient Safety Specialist tests patient-safety knowledge of employees and recommends changes to training programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patient Safety Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Although the day-to-day tasks may vary, your overall objective as an Inventory Specialist will be to meet the needs of our customers by fulfilling orders and auditing inventory onsite.     Our Inventory Specialist position operates locally in the Reno area but the role is a dynamic one! This position involves inventory, client relations and operations onsite. You will be acting as a representative of Mallory on our client site ensuring the highest safety standards, so their employees so that they can stay safe on the job day in and day out! This is great for someone who like customer service, working independently, and working in an industrial setting!

    Here is how you can make an impact as an Inventory Specialist:

    • Replenish PPE and other safety and industrial items in vending machines, lockers, and cabinets

    • Maintain inventory accuracy by following process development and quality standards

    • Reports and cycle counts to ensure the customer always has stock

    • Inspect first aid cabinets, AEDs, eye wash and shower stations, and emergency lights

    • Document inspections via virtual reporting software

    • Complete detailed audits using a checklist

    • Communicate effectively with internal teammates and external customers via phone, email, and in person

    • Continuous lifting, bending, and walking throughout the shift


    Here’s is what we are looking for in an Inventory Specialist:

    • Previous warehouse, merchandising, and/or inventory experience preferred

    • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering results

    • Creative problem-solving skills

    • Proficiency with technology and various software, including Microsoft Office Suite

    • Ability to read and write in English
