Patient Safety Specialist assists in the development and implementation of patient safety programs. Gathers data detailing patient-related errors and conducts analysis for management detailing the cause of the error. Being a Patient Safety Specialist recommends changes, policies, or programs that could prevent future errors. Gives presentations and training programs meant to increase awareness of patient safety initiatives. Additionally, Patient Safety Specialist tests patient-safety knowledge of employees and recommends changes to training programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patient Safety Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     JSS Safety & Rescue is actively seeking qualified Industrial Safety Professionals, who are familiar and comfortable with project-based work including experience in the various industries such as New Construction, Pipeline, Manufacturing, Steel Mill, Refinery, and Power Plant.

    Must understand case management and be computer savvy (Microsoft word and excel).

    Minimum Requirements:

    • To be considered, all applicants must have at least: OSHA 30 in Construction and At least 3 years of professional safety experience in the field as a Safety Professional.
    • Any of the following certifications (Is a plus): OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, ASP, and/or CSP
    • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
    • TWIC
    • Eligible to work in the US, pass a background check with criminal history and pass a drug test
    • Physical stamina to stand or travel regularly
    • This role requires 100% travel, apply ONLY if you are willing to travel

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
