This Centralized Scheduler opportunity is full time at hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule.

We are looking for a dynamice Centralized Scheduler . You will be responsible for accurately performing the pre-access functions for scheduled patients, which includes scheduling outpatient diagnostic procedures and completing the pre-registration and insurance verification processes.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Responsible for accurately performing verification of benefits for all hospital patients.
• Arranges for the efficient and orderly pre-admission of inpatients and outpatients, and appropriate follow up for emergency department admissions.
• Ensures that patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.
• Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer database.
• Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments.

Qualifications

Requirements :

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a scheduler.
