Pathology Assistant under the supervision of a pathologist assists with preparing and dissecting surgical specimens. Prepares and selects tissue samples for analysis. Being a Pathology Assistant may record findings or sterilize equipment. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree from an accredited program. Additionally, Pathology Assistant may require certification as a pathologist assistant. Typically reports to a pathologist. To be a Pathology Assistant typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position would be split between Lumberton and Fayetteville. Split between a charter school in Fayetteville and a public school in Lumberton; with the option for clinic patients in afternoon (but not required).

Hours/Schedule: Create a schedule that works for you! Can be part time or fulltime.
Pay Ranges:
$22-26 – range for a school hour depending on school contract and years of experience and approximately
$23-$25 – clinic visit (30 minute visit)
$10 – travel hour
$20 – meeting hour
