The Maintenance Director, will supervise the facility's day-to-day functions as it relates to the facility's interior and grounds to ensure facility policy and standards are met.
Job Duties
• Maintenance of facility and equipment, including preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs
• The Maintenance Director will provide counsel to management regarding facility issues
• Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations
• Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner
• Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures
• Responsible for budget, reports and required documentation
• Responds to requests for repairs by building staff; promptly address any hazardous conditions and equipment
• Assist other as requested and function as a working supervisor in all areas of responsibilities
• Responsible for fire safety
• Conducts monthly fire drills in accordance with Life Safety and Federal regulations
• Participates in general orientation on fire safety
Chair of Safety Committee
• Responsible for safety on the grounds
• Participates in Quality Improvement, OSHA Compliance, staff education and Department Head meetings
• Handles and/or supervises snow removal and landscaping
• Has on-call responsibility to respond to off-hours facility emergencies
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
• Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations or standards of conduct
